Eligibility
Use of SOS The Fairways Glenn Dale MD is limited to authorized residents, moderators, admins, and invited users approved to access the service.
Accounts and Verification
Users must provide truthful registration and verification information, including accurate residency details. Access may be denied, suspended, or revoked if submitted information is false or cannot be verified.
Emergency SMS and Voice Alert Program
SOS The Fairways Glenn Dale MD may offer an optional alert program called SOS The Fairways Emergency Alerts. This program is used only for serious neighborhood incidents, critical safety updates, and related follow-up messages that help residents recognize and respond to urgent situations.
Consent to Receive Messages
Users opt in inside the SOS The Fairways mobile app. During account setup or later in Alert Preferences, users may enter and verify their mobile number and then independently enable emergency SMS alerts and automated voice-call alerts. Consent is optional, is not a condition of account approval or neighborhood access, and can be withdrawn at any time by changing alert preferences in the app.
Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies based on emergency incidents, follow-up updates, and resident alert settings. Message and data rates may apply depending on a user's wireless plan. We do not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of emergency messages in a given month because message volume depends on real neighborhood events.
STOP and HELP Instructions
Users can opt out of SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP to a message or by disabling emergency SMS alerts in the app. Users can request help by replying HELP. Questions about the emergency alert program can also be sent to support@sosthefairways.com.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the service for harassment, false reporting, impersonation, spam, illegal content, or misuse of emergency alerts. Incident posts must be made in good faith and based on real neighborhood safety concerns.
User Content
You are responsible for the text, images, videos, and other content you submit. By using the service, you confirm that you have the right to share the content you upload.
Moderation Rights
SOS The Fairways Glenn Dale MD may review, hide, remove, or restrict content and accounts to protect residents, maintain trust, and enforce platform rules. Verification requests may be approved, rejected, or revisited at any time by authorized reviewers.
No Emergency Response Guarantee
The service is intended to help neighbors communicate quickly, but it is not a replacement for 911, law enforcement, or emergency responders. We do not guarantee delivery timing, response, or intervention.
Availability and Liability
The platform is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, SOS The Fairways Glenn Dale MD disclaims liability for interruptions, data loss, missed alerts, or damages related to use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for rule violations, abuse, safety concerns, or misuse of the platform.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the revised terms.
